DESCRIPTION
This unit is for any programmer who wants an introduction to C# and the .NET Framework. This unit outlines the differences in the C# language syntax from Java syntax as well as object and component programming in C#. This unit will introduce the Language Integrated Query (LINQ) and ADO.Net, which provide a way to query data sources, e.g. objects, SQL, XML, or Data Sets. The unit will also cover how to use various desktop user interface technologies, such as Windows forms and WPF and examine .Net deployment.

WEIGHT:  12.5%

ASSESSMENT: 60% Exam, 40% In-semester (Quizzes 10%, 2 assignments 30%)
