The unit provides practical introduction supported by regular workshops to develop concurrent Java programs meeting the goals: safety, responsiveness, correctness and other performance. Software development for concurrent systems is introduced through java threads and related concurrent programming practices and patterns. Introduction to distributed computing: RMI, , J2EE and EJB.
