About Census Dates

DESCRIPTION

In this unit students learn concepts and skills that are necessary to develop well designed, efficient, and safe dynamic web applications that can interact with both users and "back end" data. The skills component will include high level server side programming (using, for example, PHP), and the storage and query of structured and semi -structured data.

WEIGHT:  12.5%

ASSESSMENT:

tutorial work (20%), in-semester assignments (30%), one 3-hour final examination (50%)

TEACHING PATTERN: 2 hours of lectures, 1 hour of self study, 1 hour of tutorial weekly
