DESCRIPTION

Game design is one of the most crucial aspects of game production, whether it be in a team of 100 people with a budget of millions, or in a small independent development team working on their first title. This unit will cover all stages of development from the initial idea through to implementation and quality assurance with a focus on game design. Students will apply game design theory and processes by developing new levels, 3D assets and possibly game mechanics for a 3D game engine. Students will also gain experience working in small teams.
