DESCRIPTION

Provides students with information on fish diseases in aquaculture. The focus of the unit is on fish health management, including disease prevention and treatment on fish farms. Emphasis is placed on practical components of the unit, including treatment calculations.

WEIGHT:  12.5%

ASSESSMENT: continuing assessment (50%), final exam (50%)

TEACHING PATTERN: 2 hrs lectures, 1 hr tutorial, 2 hrs practicals weekly
