DESCRIPTION The objectives of the unit are (1) to introduce students to a variety of research methodologies and statistics related to clinical psychology, (2) program planning and evaluation, and (3) assist students with developing their research proposal. Topics covered include single case experimental designs, moderation and mediation, confirmatory factor analysis, survey research methods, scale development, program evaluation, clinical significance and diagnostic efficiency.

ASSESSMENT:
Moderation and mediation assignment (50%), development of an evaluationplan fora hypothetical program (50%), class presentation of research proposal (hurdle requirement)
