This unit examines issues related to organisational structure and the individual experience of being in a workplace. The workers' compensation process is examined as it relates to both physical and psychological injury and occupational stress. The roles of a rehabilitation consultant within the vocational rehabilitation systems will be considered and theories of rehabilitation as they relate to the workers' compensation and motor vehicle accident systems are examined. The return to work process under Tasmania legislation is examined as well as conducting vocational assessments and transferable skills analysis.
