This unit examinesstyles of counselling with integration of theories of counselling with its practice. This unit teaches both basic skills in counselling and more advanced skills necessary in more complex counselling situations. Multicultural counselling will also be addressed.
On successful completion of this unit, students will be able to use practical skills for more effective communication as well as basic counselling skills.
