Involves a series of lectures, practical work and geophysical survey work, which includes the interpretation of results and the preparation of a report. The unit covers seismic, gravity, magnetic, electrical and electromagnetic methods of geophysical exploration. Recommended for students planning a career in mineral exploration, mine geology or geophysics.
