DESCRIPTION

Builds on the work undertaken in HTG101 and enables students to proceed to further studies in Ancient Greek. The unit is designed to complete a rapid survey of Ancient Greek accidence and syntax sufficient to enable students to read easy prescribed portions of standard Greek authors; and it includes some historical and cultural background.

WEIGHT:  12.5%

ASSESSMENT: Weekly language exercises (40%)
1 x 3-hr exam in November (60%)

TEACHING PATTERN:

1 hour weekly in Hobart plus study package
