Intended for students who have no previous knowledge of the language. The unit is designed to provide a rapid survey of Ancient Greek accidence and syntax sufficient to enable students to read the passages of adapted Ancient Greek found in the first eight sections of Reading Greek. It includes some historical and cultural background. It is strongly recommended that only students who have successfully completed a course in Latin or another inflected language enrol in this course.
