DESCRIPTION

This unit involves supervised advanced study on a topic concerning contemporary policing practices selected by the student in consultation with an appropriate staff member. Students must seek the approval of the Police Studies Coordinator prior to enrolling in this unit.

WEIGHT:  25%

ASSESSMENT: 8,000 words in written assignments

TEACHING PATTERN: Intensive directed study involving weekly contact with supervisor (13 wks)
