About Census Dates

DESCRIPTION

Develops competence in advanced spoken and written Chinese (simplified characters). Unit includes grammar lecture, student and teacher-led tutorials in speaking and listening, reading and writing.

WEIGHT:  12.5%

ASSESSMENT: Continuous assessment of aural/oral/written work (60%), final aural/oral exams (20%), final 2-hr written exam (20%).

TEACHING PATTERN: 1x1hr lecture, 2x1hr tutorial weekly
