DESCRIPTION The unit promotes the articulation and application of ideas between practice and theory by developing skills in planning, carrying out and communicating creative arts practice-led research. Students develop a research project proposal for their individual project, and present their outcomes in the forms of a conference paper and an essay. Project topics may relate directly to major studies or be otherwise relevant to the student's arts practice. Students are taught by individual supervision and in group seminars.

TEACHING PATTERN: 13 hours seminars and 26 hours consultation and project facilitation (total) over 13 weeks
