Explores specific aspects of performance techniques and practice for instruments and/or voices in repertoire chosen from the music of Rennaissance period to the present day. Students will gain a practical understanding of the particular demands of the chosen performance practices or issues, through guided and mentored research, reflection and performance.

Seminar and 2-hr rehearsals/workshops/practical session weekly over 13 weeks or in block mode in Spring, Summer or Winter semesters: intensive delivery comprising seminars, workshops, demonstrations and rehearsals, totaling an average of 60 hours contact
