About Census Dates

DESCRIPTION

This unit introduces students to the pathological processes that underly various human diseases. The unit enables students to recognise common pathological conditions. The eitiology, including environmental factors, will be discussed. The project allows in-depth study of one disease process, its causes and outcomes.

WEIGHT:  12.5%

ASSESSMENT: Mid semester essay (1000 words) (20%); Mid semester test (15%); Group Project and presentation (15%); Final 2-hour examination (50%)

TEACHING PATTERN: 2-hr lecture/seminar (12 weeks), 4 rostered tutorials per semester (other tutorials as requested).
