This unit explores a broad range of health related issues about children and adolescents within a health promotion framework. The unit covers an introduction to the multi-disciplinary field of child and adolescent health care. The context in which children grow and develop is explored, as well as common health problems that they may experience.

ASSESSMENT: Two assignments to a total of 3000 words (1 x 1200 words, 40%; 1 x 1800 words, 60%)
TEACHING PATTERN:
Students will have 40 hours comprising lectures, tutorials and/or workshops.
