DESCRIPTION

This unit examines and develops communication skills that are relevant to the clinical context of health care. It introduces students to the importance of mental health and wellbeing with the aim of developing effective communication skills.

WEIGHT:  12.5%

ASSESSMENT:

Critical analysis of case study (1500 words), 50%; Two hour multiple choice and short answer exam, 50%.

TEACHING PATTERN:

One hour lecture, One hour tutorial per week (13 weeks)
