DESCRIPTION

Provides an introduction to the relationship between tourism and geography. The unit also explores the spatial aspects of tourism looking at the countries of origin of tourists, or generating areas, the tourist destinations themselves and the flows between these two sets of locations.

WEIGHT:  12.5%

ASSESSMENT:

Continuous assessment and/or exam as approved by the Head of School.

TEACHING PATTERN:

Delivered over 13 weeks and may include lectures, tutorials, workshops or on-line activities.
