Course Structure
To successfully complete the BEnvSc(Hons), students must successfully complete the following units:

| Environmental Science Honours in Geography and Environmental Studies |

KGA416 (Semester 1) 25%, KGA417 (Semester 2) 25% |
To unify the students within the BEnvSc(Hons), each of the Honours units will have the same structure:
- 12.5% Desktop study of a current environmental issue
- 12.5% Research proposal
- 15% Research seminar
- 60% Research thesis, including literature review
- Students will also be expected to attend 2-3 day research methods workshop, present a preliminary seminar on their research topic, and attend a seminar program in environmental science.
Articulation
Graduates from other institutions with degrees acceptable to Faculty may be accepted into the Honours course.
Graduates of the BEnvSc(Hons) course may enrol for a higher degree by research.
