Course Structure
To qualify for the Bachelor of Biotechnology, students must satisfactorily complete units with a total weighting of 300% from the Schedules of the BBiotech. It is strongly recommended that students seek advice from the Degree Coordinator when selecting optional units.
The first 100% (ie the first year) must be made up of all the core units listed in Schedule A (75%) and 25% from Schedule B.
The second 100% (ie the second year) must be made up of all the units listed in Schedule C (62.5%) and 37.5% from optional units listed in Schedule D.
The third 100% (ie the third year) must be made up of all the units listed in Schedule E (50%) and 50% from optional units listed in Schedule F.
Not more than 37.5% of terminating passes may be counted towards the degree.
