Course Structure

To qualify for the Bachelor of Health Science and Bachelor of Teaching, students must successfully complete 400%. 212.5% is required for the BHlthSc component and 187.5% for the BTeach component. The BHlthSc component includes Health Sciences as a major, compulsory subject area, and will comprise at least 125% of health science units. Students will then be taught in units constituting a Health Education: secondary stream in the B.Teach. The second stream will normally be the area of food studies including nutrition. Units in this area will comprise 50% (usually 25% first year core and a 25% second year or above). Students will then undertake the Food & Technology stream of ESA184, 185 and290 in the BTeach.
