Course Structure
The structure of the first year of the MAppSc(ME)Hons course is comprised of the GradDipAppSc(ME), which is a coursework award assessed by coursework and examination and which also contains a Practicum requirement (10 days).
At the end of the GradDipAppSc(ME) students elect to enrol in the 1.0 year research project assessed by an Honours-level thesis giving the students a complete experience of organising, carrying out, analysing and evaluating a research project, together with Practicum 3 and 4 (10 days) and graduate with the MAppSc(ME)Hons.
Students may complete 1 semester (4 X 12.5% units) with Practicum 1 and exit the course with a GradCertAppSc(ME), or complete 1 year (8 X 12.5% units) with Practicum 1 and 2 and exit with a GradDipAppSc(ME).
