The Graduate Certificate is the initial pathway for students intending to complete a Master of Education Degree or Research Higher Degree.
Students can choose from Schedule A, B, C or D (TESOL) depending on their area of interest. Full credit may be gained toward the Master of Education for work completed in the Graduate Certificate of Education.
Please note that;
Schedule A and B of the Graduate Certificate of Education articulate into Schedule A or B of the Master of Education.
Schedule C of the Graduate Certificate of Education articulates into Schedule C of the Master of Education.
Schedule D of the Graduate Certificate of Education (TESOL) articulates into Schedule D of the Master of Education (TESOL).
Only Schedule D (TESOL) offers full-time on-campus study options for international students.
Education Summer Schools
The Summer School has proven a most successful way for students to attend our master degree programs. It has attracted candidates from all over Australia, and overseas.
The Summer School runs for three weeks in January and classes are held five days a week from early morning into the evening. The School is staffed by experts from the Faculty's staff and at times by visiting professors who are international leaders in their fields of expertise
Information for Summer School is available in October.

Graduate Certificate of Education -All Graduate Certificate units are approved at a post graduate level and may be used toward gaining a Master of Education award. It is possible to earn a Graduate Certificate by successfully completing four of the units in the approved schedule of units offered from the general schedule or to select four required units in one of the specialisations listed after the schedule.
