Course Structure
The proposed structure of the Associate Degree in Business Management is as follows:

DIPLOMA* (Equivalent to 6 UTAS Units including specialist areas) = 'Career Established', + 2 x first year UTAS Units including BMA 101 |
TAFE/UTAS |

2 TAFE unit equivalents + 6 UTAS units (will complete UTAS 1st year Units and provide first part of BBus Major second year requirements) |
UTAS/TAFE |
Students can exit with the TAFE Diploma (and professional qualifications to which those lead) or can complete both years to gain the Associate Degree in Business Management.
Students with relevant TAFE qualifications, or appropriate work experience, can enter directly into Year 1 of the Associate Degree. Such TAFE qualifications may be acquired on the basis of workplace assessment conducted by TAFE in accordance with current TAFE policies and procedures.
