Specification
These specifications shall apply to the award of Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice.
Entry
| 1 |
Candidates for the award as specified above shall be persons who: |
|
[i] |
have qualified for the degree of Bachelor of Laws or a combined Law degree at the University of Tasmania or any other approved Australian university; and |
|
[ii] |
have passed the requirements of the subjects prescribed by the Board of Legal Education pursuant to Section 23(b) of the
Legal Profession Act 1993 (Tas).

Candidates for the award shall complete the award requirements, as hereinafter prescribed, in not less than two semesters (equivalent) of full-time study. |
Course structure
| 3 |
To quality for the award, the candidate shall pass all units in accordance with the Schedule accompanying these specifications. |
Miscellaneous
| 4 |
The Faculty of Law may from time to time make amendments to the Schedule to these specifications. |
| 5 |
These specifications shall take effect on 1 January 2009 and shall apply to all candidates for the award. |
| 6 |
The approved abbreviation for the award of Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice shall be GradDipLegPrac. |
