Candidates for the Master of Education (Honours) shall be qualified for entry if they have obtained one of the following: |

[i] |
a bachelor degree in Education with first or second class honours; |
|
[ii] |
a bachelor degree in another faculty with first or second class honours upper division together with the Diploma of Education, Bachelor of Teaching, or an equivalent award; |
|
[iii] |
a Bachelor of Education degree and at least two years' full-time professional experience, or equivalent part-time experience in education; |
|
[iv] |
a bachelor degree in another faculty together with the Diploma of Education, Bachelor of Teaching, or equivalent award and at least two year' full-time professional experience, or equivalent part-time experience in education; |
|
[v] |
a tertiary qualification which is not a degree coupled with professional experience which clearly demonstrates a level of knowledge and skill deemed by the Faculty to provide a preparation for study equivalent to that provided for by the prescriptions in paragraph 1; |
|
[vi] |
such other qualifications and experience deemed by the Faculty to provide a preparation for study equivalent to that provided for by the prescriptions in paragraph 1. |

Candidates for the Master of Education (Honours) shall complete the requirements, as hereinafter prescribed, in not less than one and a half years of full-time study (or its equivalent) and not more than six years from the time of first enrolment. |
