Introduction
This course provides candidates with the extensive knowledge and analytical skills required to meet the challenges facing the maritime and logistics industry and to enhance their career opportunities in management positions at both local and international levels.
It is designed for people within the general maritime and transport industries who may be working as users or providers of transport, including shipping or shipping services; logistics; authorities involved in the business activities of port and terminal management; international business and related areas.
Admission & Prerequisites
A first degree in Business or an associated discipline such as Commerce, Economics, Law, Management, Transport and Distribution, Maritime Studies or Marine Engineering
and Two years work experience
or
Applicants who do not hold a first degree, but have relevant professional qualifications such as a Class 1 Certificate of Competency can apply, provided they have work experience at a level considered by the Course Coordinator to be equivalent
or
If a first degree or professional qualification is not held, prospective candidates may apply to the Course Coordinator for consideration. Applicants are assessed on their work experience and current managerial responsibilities.
For non-degree holders, an official GMAT score may also be required. Students with English as a second language will also need to have an IELTS score of 6.

Articulation to/from Course
Successful completion of the Graduate Certificate in Maritime and Logistics Management gives eligibility forcredit for four units in the Graduate Diploma of Maritime and Logistics Management.
