Introduction

The Diploma of Maritime and Logistics Management has been developed to provide students with contemporary business expertise for careers in management and administration in the maritime and logistics industries and related areas. This course also provides a pathway into the Advanced Diploma of Maritime and Logistics Management and the Bachelor of Business (Maritime and Logistics Management).

Admission & Prerequisites

Satisfactory completion of Year 12 (TCE, VCE, HSC or equivalent) OR successful completion of Certificate in Maritime and Logistics Management. AMC will consider applications from people who do not have the above qualifications, but who seek admission on the basis of experience gained in industry or government. Students from a non-English speaking background also need to have an IELTS score of 6.

Career Outcomes

The Diploma of Maritime and Logistics Management is designed to prepare students for management and administrative careers in private enterprise, industry organisations and government in the areas of commercial shipping, ports and terminals, transport policy and administration, freight forwarding and exporting and importing.


Articulation to/from Course


This course provides a pathway into the Advanced Diploma of Maritime and Logistics Managment. Successful completion of the Diploma of Maritime and Logistics Management results incredit for 8 units in the Bachelor of Business (Maritime and Logistics Management).
