Introduction
This course is offered on a full fee paying basis to eligible domestic students. Fees are established per unit and can be found in the unit descriptions within the course schedule. Click on 'View fees for this unit' and select 'Tuition fee (domestic) Post 2008' as the fee type.

Full-time: A two semester, or equivalent course, is offered at the Hobart campus conducted with a combination of traditional timetabling, weekend mode, intensive mode and/or flexible delivery as appropriate.
Part-time: A 2-year part-time, on-campus course is offered at the Hobart and Launceston campuses, through weekend mode and flexible delivery.
The course is full fee paying. Fees cover tuition, all study materials (with the exception of text books) and costs associated with the study sessions.
All units are subject to formal assessment including, but not limited to, assignments and examinations.
Admission & Prerequisites
The Faculty of Business may accept as a candidate for the Graduate Diploma of Business Administration any of the following:
- A person who:
(a) has completed an undergraduate degree of an Australian higher education institution or the equivalent standard in any other institution, and
(b) has had at least six months appropriate work experience;
- A person who is not a graduate but who has satisfactorily completed the Graduate Certificate of Management at the University of Tasmania or another participating member of the Australian National Business Schools, or an equivalent award.
For entry into all postgraduate courses, international students must provide an IELTS test score of at least Band 6 with a minimum of 6.0 on all bands or a TOEFL score of 575 with a Test of Written English score of no less than 4.5. This test must not be more than 24 months old. Further information can be found under international admissions

At the discretion of the Faculty, admission may also include an interview.
Course Objectives
The broad aims of the course are to assist course participants to become better managers by providing them with a basic understanding of the broad body of knowledge of a number of different management disciplines.
Career Outcomes
Graduate studies have an important place in management development. They offer individuals aspiring to either general management or senior functional management roles the opportunity to develop competencies relevant to the effective management of enterprises.
Articulation to/from Course
Graduates of the Graduate Certificate of Management may receive full credit.
The course leads on to the
