DESCRIPTION This unit furthers the students understanding of immersive world development at both a technical and professional level. Students undertake a significant immersive world development project using skills acquired from completing previous Human Interface Technology and Computing units. The student develops the critical professional skill of working within a project team on a task of substantial size. The team will take an immersive world project from a green-lighted concept design document and prototype (completed in Immersive World Project A) to a full usable immersive world, as well as providing the appropriate documentation.
ASSESSMENT: 50% Team mark, 50% Individual mark - mark determined by contribution to design documents, world implementation, manuals and project management.
TEACHING PATTERN: 2-3hr lectures (scheduled when necessary) and regular meetings with client and development team.
