DESCRIPTION

This unit extends students' engagement in the practice and theory of contemporary black and white image making. The unit is designed to assist students in developing and refining a photographic image making practice based on analogue and digital production facilities and software. While it has as its backdrop analogue black and white photography, it is more generally an exploration of the unique qualities, attributes and language of black and white - and drawn from a range of analogue and digital processes.
