The unit introduces the learner to the unique environment of Australian general practice. The unit consists of three modules which foster an awareness of needs and resources available in community settings, enhanced inter-professional practice, and examine the development, coordination and administration of systems and processes in general practice. The learning in this unit is experiential and students need to be located in a general practice setting.
