This unit covers the essential foundation skills and knowledge in mathematics and statistics as a preparation for University degree subjects with numeracy components (eg. Business, Economics, Finance, Psychology, Geography, Education and Nursing).
Topics covered include applications of arithmetric, percentages, ratios, algebra, indicies, financial maths, graphical methods and basic statistics.
*All UPP students are also enrolled in Supported Studies units each semester. These are support units only and do not include assessment.

Available via face-to-face delivery at the Hobart campus and via distance (all campuses) in Semester 1 and Semester 2.
