DESCRIPTION

Develops an understanding of the broader law of private obligations by introducing students to its historical foundations and basic doctrinal elements, including aspects of contract, equity, tort and property.

WEIGHT: 12.5%

ASSESSMENT: 2hr examination (50%), problem solving exercise (40%), tutorial participation (10%)

TEACHING PATTERN: 2/3 x 50-min lectures weekly, 50-min tutorial fortnightly

Prereq LAW121 and LAW122 and completion of first year in another degree, or a bachelor degree
