Builds on the work undertaken in
HTL101 and enables students to proceed to further studies in Latin. The unit is designed to complete a rapid survey of the Latin language sufficient to enable students to read easy prescribed portions of standard Latin authors; and it includes some historical and cultural background.
ASSESSMENT: weekly language and unseen exercises (40%), 3-hr exam in Nov (60%)
