In this unit, students will engage in work integrated learning by being placed in a government, business or civil society agency involved in promoting, implementing and/or monitoring environmental sustainability in the Tamar Valley region. Students will agree a project with the Coordinator and their workplace manager which will involve researching an issue related to sustainability governance across all three social, economic and environmental platforms.
WEIGHT: 12.5%
ASSESSMENT: Satisfactory completion of workplace placement and submission of 3,500 word final report (100% of final mark).
TEACHING PATTERN: Workplace placement plus ongoing supervision
