In this unit students will build upon basic broadcast skills through the production of a portfolio of works for radio and television. Students are encouraged to reflect upon broadcast journalism as a practice, reflecting constructively on their own work and that of professional journalists. Students will also produce a scholarly analysis of radio and television journalism.

ASSESSMENT: Essay (2,000 words) 40%, portfolio of works (2,000 words equiv) and 1,500-word accompanying exegesis/industry analysis 60%
