This unit gives students the opportunity to undertake supervised research on a special topic in Journalism, Media and Communications, and where applicable to gain practical experience in Journalism, Media and Communications. Intensive workshops early in semester focus on developing advanced skills in media research and/or practice: project conception and planning, information literacy, writing and presentation. Students meet regularly with a supervisor throughout the remainder of semester.
