DESCRIPTION

This unit provides an insight into German history since the First World War through a study of a short novel by four major German-speaking writers of the time.

WEIGHT: 12.5%

ASSESSMENT: Two 1,500-word essays (40%), two-hour examination (60%)

TEACHING PATTERN: Two contact hours per week
