Tracing the creative writing process from inspiration to finished product, this unit enables students to create works of short fiction or creative non-fiction inspired by Tasmania's cultural heritage or natural environment. A visit to one of Tasmania's key cultural heritage institutions and/or natural reserves will be followed by on-campus workshops in which students will present and critique draft work.
WEIGHT: 12.5%
ASSESSMENT:
Written and oral assignments to a total of 5,500 words.

Introductory class, excursion and workshops.
