Consists of a self-directed professional practice project or series of projects extending those undertaken in
Professional Practices 2, or on completion of the Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honours (Professional), and agreed upon in consultation with the students' supervisor and the coursework postgraduate coordinator. Projects are supervised by academic staff from one of the following disciplines: Drawing, Electronic Media, Furniture Design, Visual Communication, Painting, Photography, Printmaking, Sculpture, Art and Design Theory, Curatorial Studies and Public Art.

ASSESSMENT:
Assessed by a panel of examiners appointed by the Head of School
TEACHING PATTERN:
A weekly seminar program of student led presentations, discussions and group critiques. Regular supervisory meetings by arrangement.
Units are offered in attending mode unless otherwise indicated (that is attendance is required at the campus identified). A unit identified as offered by distance, that is there is no requirement for attendance, is identified with a nominal enrolment campus. A unit offered to both attending students and by distance from the same campus is identified as having both modes of study.
