This unit builds on the skills developed in Virtual Orchestration to provide students with an applied understanding of composition for visual media. This unit introduces large form compositional structures; advanced midi programming techniques; working with visual media formats; narrative accompaniment; and sound design. Students will be expected to respond to 'real-world' briefs to produce work that demonstrates an in-depth understanding of concepts covered in class and professional industry practices.
