Instrumental/vocal: End of semester assessment: 50%, 20 minutes. The material presented will reflect the work undertaken in the one-to-one lesson, eg. Technical work, studies, recital repertoire, student journal et al
Weekly activities: 50%, assessment of the student's weekly preparation and participation in all unit activities, classes and rehearsals eg. concert/repertoire diary, ensemble commitment, excerpts jury et al
Composition: folio of semester work 80%, Participation and Composition Diary 10%, Performance of works 10%
TEACHING PATTERN: 1-2 x 90 min performance classes or group tutorials; 1 x 60 min specialist lesson (either group or 1-to-1 instruction); 1 x3 hr ensemble rehearsal weekly
