This unit focuses on music and its relationship with culture, power and religion in Europe from the fifteenth century to the end of the nineteenth century. The unit also aims to provide students with opportunities to improve important written communication skills, developing research skills, especially the distinction between formal and informal writing, and the processes of critical awareness and listening analysis.
