The Music Technology major is devoted to developing the student's awareness of what is required for musical expression utilising music technology, as well as how and why this might be achieved, at a professional level. Using industry standard audio design tools, students will engage in problem-based learning requiring them to analyse, experiment with, reflect on revise and develop their craft and skill as music technologists. In this fifth unit students will be required to undertake, complete and document music technology projects. Briefs for the projects will be supplied by, or developed in negotiation with the lecturer, and should reflect the specialised style and expertise students have developed as music technologists.
