The second of five units, this unit continues the work commenced in the previous semester and focuses on the development of the musical theatre synthesis of dance, song and drama. The work in this unit will enfold in the end of year Music Theatre production and students will be expected to develop awareness, within the context of their role in the performance, professional-level presentation skills. Videotape may be used for critical analysis of progress.
ASSESSMENT: Ensemble Assessment: 40%, solo assessment: 30%, performance: 30%
Units are offered in attending mode unless otherwise indicated (that is attendance is required at the campus identified). A unit identified as offered by distance, that is there is no requirement for attendance, is identified with a nominal enrolment campus. A unit offered to both attending students and by distance from the same campus is identified as having both modes of study.
