Is designed to support advanced studies in composition. Primary concentration is given to the development of high level technical and musical skills. On completion of the unit students should have developed advanced skills in the technique of chamber music composition. Development of a folio of compositions appropriate to the level of study is by negotiation with the lecturer and approval of the Course Coordinator.

The folio submitted for exam must contain documentation of creative work undertaken during the unit, including recordings of live performances.
