Advanced studies in instruments/vocal performance in an individual program of study designed to develop a high level of technical and musical skills appropriate to the specialist area. Development of knowledge and understanding of advanced repertoire and associated concepts.

ASSESSMENT:
Formative, in-semester (before the end of week 8) closed-panel performance (10-15 minutes): 30%
End of semester recital (50 minutes): 60%
Participation and performance at appropriate instrumental/vocal class and weekly Postgraduate Research Forum: 10%
TEACHING PATTERN: 39 hrs contact time over sem consisting of individual lessons, workshops and master class and ensemble commitment

Units are offered in attending mode unless otherwise indicated (that is attendance is required at the campus identified). A unit identified as offered by distance, that is there is no requirement for attendance, is identified with a nominal enrolment campus. A unit offered to both attending students and by distance from the same campus is identified as having both modes of study.
