DESCRIPTION

This unit is designed to familiarize students with the major bibliographic sources appropriate for research in music at the postgraduate level. Students will establish a solid foundation in research methodology for future research projects through a variety of research tasks and oral and written presentations.

WEIGHT: 12.5%

ASSESSMENT: Assignments (45%) including research assignment annd programme notes;Abstract and powerpoint slides (25%); 1,500 word research project (30%)
